Animals in dry period, should be fed while their weaning times for 2 months.
The main principle here; should be trying not to fatten animals. Excessive energy intake should be avoided.
Fodder is one of the most important feed materials in dry period. Daily amount is suggested to be 4- 6 kg or 4-7 kg per animal. Additionally to fodder; corn silage is another important material during this period. Its’ amount should be about 7- 8 kg. Dairy feed shouldn’t be given to animals in any conditions.
