What Are The Syndromes Of Botulismus? What Are The Ways For The Avoidance Of This Disease?

Botulismus is a fetal disease occurring because of spoiled corn silage and grass. As a result of poison and toxine taken from the bacteria named Clostridium Botulinum; animals become ill and paralysed. Any kind of spoiled feed materials shouldn’t be consumed for the avoidance of this disease. Excessively liquid silages are very dangerous to consume. Because, these triggers Botulismus.

The incubation period is between 2 and 6 days. The most relevant symptom of the disease is Bulbar Paralysis. Animals have difficulties while chewing up, swallowing, walking and drinking water. Besides, problems occur in muscles.

Silage is very important to consider. The dosage and quality of it should be arranged and then given to animals very carefully.
