Live feed production training has been organized between 4 and 7 March in Çeşme Ildırı with the participants coming from Middle Asia countries.
The training program was based on making improvements for problems arising from live feed production in inner waters in Middle Asia region. The training has been organized with the cooperation of Pınar Balık that owns the first sea hatchery of Turkey and United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Ms. Şeyma Caner Tarkan, R&D specialist, stated that they aim to provide necessary information to the participants to realize what they learn from the training in their countries and make necessary improvements in public and private sector. Technical information has been explained practically by experienced production, R&D and quality experts of Pınar Balık. Also seminars have been given by FAO Middle East Fishery and Aquaculture Regional Program specialist Assc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Altan, Prof. Dr. Tahir Atıcı and Ass. Prof. Dr. Serpil Serdar.
