14 May World Farmers Day

The production of vegetable and animal products using soil and seeds is called agriculture. Agriculture is the main source of livelihood and production for farmers, and people who are interested in agriculture and engaged in production are called “farmers”. Farming, one of the oldest professions in history, is as old as human history and is the most prestigious job in the world. Farming has always been the most honorable job in the world due to its functions such as feeding and feeding people and protecting biological diversity. Farming is both a profession and a way of life.

Agriculture and food began to attract more and more attention in the world. Global climate changes, rapid population growth, inadequate food production and diminishing small businesses started to worry human beings and all countries. Therefore, agriculture has become one of the most important strategic sectors in the world today. For this reason, it is a sector that is protected and supported in all countries of the world.

The agricultural sector has played a very important role in the economic and social development of our country since the foundation of our Republic. Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our country, said "If the majority of our nation were not farmers, we would not be in the world today."

Why Should The Agricultural Sector Be Supported?

  • Meeting the raw material needs of the industrial sector,
  • Preservation and sustainability of the ecological balance,
  • It has strategic importance for the nourishment of the society,
  • Agricultural production takes a long time
  • National and global food security,
  • The revival of rural economies,
  • To reduce the instability in prices of agricultural products,
  • Preserving traditional food products, local culture and maintaining agricultural diversity,
  • Farmer women must be supported in order to participate in the working life in rural areas.

With its activities focusing on "raising healthy future generations", Çamlı Feed Animal Husbandry has been contributing to our country for many years with a sense of responsibility in a wide area ranging from plant production to feed production, from animal husbandry to aquaculture. In addition, it contributes to the regional economy by cooperating with our farmers for contracted crop and animal production, and realizes social responsibility projects with the trainings it organizes.

We celebrate the farmers' day of all our farmers, who work the land with their sweat, contribute to the country with their efforts, and make everything beautiful.
